Villarreal Philippines, the official academy partner of Villarreal CF, is pleased to announce an upcoming open clinic designed to identify and recruit talented young players who will have the potential to represent the country in international football events. The clinic is set to take place at the Alabang Country Club in Muntinlupa City on April 28, 29, and May 1.
The inaugural clinic will be led by Villarreal CF coach Alejandro Márquez, alongside the academy’s staff, who will be tasked with selecting players for Villarreal Philippines Academy teams. Eumir Siao, the director of Villarreal Philippines Academy, has expressed great enthusiasm about introducing internationally recognized football methodologies to the Filipino football scene.
Siao has articulated that the primary objective is to enhance the level of football in the Philippines by concentrating on grassroots development and providing appropriate training and exposure to young Filipino players. The initiative aims to create opportunities for aspiring Filipino footballers to realize their full potential.
