The Philippine Football Federation has officially declared Negros Occidental FA as the champions of the PFF U19 Boys National Championship – First Division following a hard-fought 1-0 victory over National Capital Region FA in extra time.
The championship match, which took place at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite, culminated in a dramatic winning goal by Kyle Alipoon of Negros Occidental FA in the 118th minute, breaking the deadlock that had persisted during the initial 90 minutes of play.
The Battle for Third match resulted in Iloilo FA securing the third-place title in the First Division with a 1-0 victory over SOCSARGEN RFA, including a winning goal by Selwyn Mamon in the third minute.
Notably, the tournament recognized John Jalique of NCR and Selwyn Mamon of Iloilo FA as the joint-top goal scorers, while individual awards were bestowed upon John Marcellana and Francis Madamecilla of NOFA, and Haren De Grace of NCRFA. Additionally, Rohderick Rodriguez of NOFA was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
